DESCRIPTION:Wednesday Night at the Races has become one of our most popular summer programs. \nThese races are FREE for children ages 12 and under and are held on Wednesday evenings in July and August. \nThe races will start at 6:00 p.m. on each of the dates listed below. \n2022 Schedule\nJuly 20 — Superior High School\nJuly 27 — Cloquet High School\nAugust 3 — Proctor High School\nAugust 10 — Duluth East High School\nAugust 17 — Hermantown High School\nAugust 24 – Wade Stadium \nAll sites are wheelchair and adaptive participant accessible. Please see a race official when you arrive. \nThe weekly event sees an average of 400 children participate each week and is a central pillar in the YAF’s mission to encourage area kids to live active and healthy lifestyles. \nEvery participant is a champion and receives a ribbon at the end of their event. \nAge Groups & Distances \n4 Years Old & Under – 1/8 mile\n5 & 6 Years Old – 1/8 mile\n7 & 8 Years Old – 1/4 mile\n9 & 10 Years Old – 1/4 mile\n11 & 12 Years Old – 1/2 Mile\n13 & 14 Years Old– 1/2 Mile
