900 people are signed up for tomorrow`s Park Point 5-Miler & 2-Mile Walk – that`s an all-time record! The areas of Park Point and Canal Park will be extremely congested on race day, so please take time to make a plan for arriving to and leaving Park Point on race day.

PARKING INFORMATION
If you plan to park at the start/finish area near the Park Point Beach House, it’s highly recommended you plan to cross the Aerial Lift Bridge no later than 5:30 p.m. Anyone arriving to Park Point after this time runs risk of not finding available parking and potentially not arriving to the start line in time for the race.

NOTE: Motorists will not be able to leave these parking lots until the race route reopens to northbound traffic at approximately 7:10 p.m.

RACE SHUTTLE INFORMATION
We are also offering a FREE race shuttle this year, which will transport you to and from the start/finish area near the Park Point Beach House. The shuttle will depart from in front of The Garden Event Center (425 S. Lake Avenue) in Canal Park prior to the race, and it will also return to this location following the race.

SHUTTLE DEPARTURE TIMES (from Canal Park) – 4:50 p.m., 5:20 p.m., and 5:50 p.m.

RETURN SHUTTLE DEPARTURE TIMES (from Park Point) – 7:15 p.m., 7:50 p.m., and 8:30 p.m.

All people who use the FREE race shuttle service will receive a $5 coupon to Grandma’s Restaurants.
